We will work hard to place you into the type of work you need to be successful. We realize no two drivers are alike. Whether you prefer short runs or long, difficult multi stop or straight, we will try to find a fit.
Because your time off is important to you and your family we will work to find ways to accommodate most schedules with the least disruption to business or income. By placing events into our dispatch system your dispatcher will be notified in plenty of time to get you the time off you request.
Drivers are encouraged to attend monthly luncheons and annual outings such as the beach boardwalk, Coyote Ranch, sailing on the Monterey Bay and annual Crab Crack & Dance.
We feel confident that the wage and benefits packages we offer our drivers are some of the best in the industry. With starting pay at .38 per mile with daily mileage guarantees of 300 for line drivers, 400 for local drivers and stop pay $11 - $20 per stop new drivers have the opportunity to make a good living wage.
Our top drivers earn in excess of $65,000 per year in wages and enjoy an excellent benefits package including up to two weeks paid time off.
We pay for 100% of the cost of loading and or unloading. However, should the need arise, we compensate for driver handling of freight also.

Brent Redmond Transportation, Inc. offers two Major Medical Plans.
The Anthem (Blue Cross) Solution 2500 plan provides good benefits to you and your entire family including dependent coverage at a cost of $30 per week.
Dental, Vision and Term Life Insurance are provided to the employee at no additional cost however, dependent coverage would be an additional charge as shown in the tables below.
The Anthem (Blue Cross) Lumenos Health Savings Account 3000 Plan offers the greatest benefits with significant tax advantages. The Company funds each members Heath Savings Account $1,500 for individual accounts and $3,000 for family accounts annually. A Wells Fargo debit card is issued each member to access their funds. Once funded, all accounts are the sole property of the member. Each member chooses how he or she will use their funds for medical treatment and supplies. Unused balances are rolled over year after year and remain tax free until retirement. You may use these funds during retirement for future medical needs. Funds can earn interest while in the account. Although the cost to the employee is still just $30 per week, dependent coverage will be an additional cost to the employee as described.
Planning and providing for your retirement is most important. Brent Redmond Transportation, Inc. offers its drivers the opportunity to participate in our Company sponsored 401k investment Plan. The Company will provide matching funds equal to 50% of employee contributions, up to 2% of annual wages. Fidelity Investments offers one of the most comprehensive programs on the market today.
